OK…two more pages are finally done!! I’m sorry to be keeping you waiting on this – and the Bird Song mini as well – but life is SO busy at the moment that it’s starting to interfere with my scrapping
So here we are, up to New Years Eve. Eight pages and two covers completed, so we are past the half way point.
For the background of both pages I used a smaller and red version of Calling Birds from the 6.5″ Paper Pad. Everything has it’s edges inked of course…still with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Both pages also have a darker red border cut from the reverse of Drummers.
I punched the edge of this border and added two baubles from the Collectables Die Cuts for the 30th December. The baubles are popped up on Mini Magic Mount and decorated with red rhinestones and hang from Champagne coloured ones…all are from various Bo Bunny collections.
For my photo mat I fussy cut Santa – including his bracketted journalling spot, also from the reverse of Drummers, and added a bunch of cherries at the top from the Collectables. The cherries are also on Mini Magic Mount…and my supply is getting very low. Hurry home Mary!
My journalling tag is one of the To Froms, the only addition being a Bo Bunny Happy Holidays brad and another rhinestone.
December 31st has the same baubles on its border, but these ones are printed on the pp and their rhinestones are Champagne.
In the top right corner of the page is a “Christmas Rush” die cut from the 6.5″ Paper Pad with the date (31) stuck onto it…these are Scrapware chipboard numbers…and a “New Year Resolutions” stamped with Black Archival Ink.
My photo mat is cut from a smaller version of Golden Rings, also from the 6.5″ Paper Pad and the corners are punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The Burgundy snowflake started off being white, but a coat of embossing enamel soon fixed that. Another Bo Bunny brad completes the journalling tag….another of the To Froms.
Happy New Year to Everyone 😀
